MIRA LOMA, Calif. – Colin Prater claimed medalist honors as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's gold team placed fourth overall at the Lancer Joust at Goose Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, hosted by California Baptist.

Prater finished the three rounds -6 under par after shooting 204 (67, 70, 67). The senior finished three strokes ahead of California Baptist's Ben Hallam.

Tanner Comes took eighth place with a +3 over par performance, shooting a 213 (68, 76, 72).

As a team, the Mountain Lions were +32 over par (283, 294, 295), just two strokes behind Simon Fraser.

The hosts won the tournament with a +10 under par finish, followed by Chico State at +18 over par.

UCCS travels to Florence, Ala. next week to compete in the Division II National Preview, hosted by University of Northern Alabama.
