ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team added eight strokes from Thursday's opening round of 297 and posted a 305 Friday afternoon, moving them to 17
th place with a 602 after two rounds of the NCAA South Central/West Regional Tournament.

FROM THE TEE
- After two rounds of action, Brady Haake continues to pace the Mountain Lions in the Super Regional. Haake, who went even par on the front nine, shot a three-over par on the back to bring his round two scorecard to a 75 and his two-day total to 148.
- James Perry moved up 10 spots and now sits in a tie for 64th place overall. He saved three strokes from yesterday's round and posted a 74 to bring his total to 151. Perry, who started with a four-over par through nine holes, chipped in four birdies on the back nine for a two-under par.
- One stroke separates Brandon Bervig (T73) and Travis Bossio (T85). Bervig owns a 153 after shooting an 80 today behind two birdies and eight pars. Bossio joins Perry as the two Mountain Lions who improved their scores from round one. Bossio tallied two birdies on the front nine and added one more on his second to last hole for a 76 today and a 154 combined score (78, 76).
- Barrett Jones is currently the non-scorer for the Mountain Lions. Jones is just one stroke behind Bossio after recording an 81 today. His 155 on the scorecard has him in a tie for 89th place.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- Colorado Christian University continues to hold the 20-team lead through 36 holes of action. The Cougars own a 570 and an eight-stroke lead over second place West Texas A&M University.
- Griffin Pace from host school Sonoma State University took the individual lead after firing a four-under par 68 today. Pace's 136 is leading all 108 golfers.
