DURANGO, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team used a pair of top-three individual performances to earn a second-place team finish in the shortened RMAC Fall Event today at the Hillcrest Golf Club. Colin Prater finished second with a 3-under 139 with Tanner Comes tied for third with a 2-under 140.

Prater extended his streak of rounds at or below par to 15 this week with a 2-under 69. He finished two strokes behind the leader in his fifth top-three finish in the last seven tournaments. Comes led the Mountain Lions in the second round with a 68 in a four-stroke improvement from his first round.

Jack Duguid finished one position out of his first top-10 finish of the season after a 73 in the second round. Ji Jang closed out the UCCS team score with a 74 and lowered his score by four strokes from yesterday. He tied for No. 38 overall with teammate Peter Johns at a 10-over 152 in two rounds.

The Mountain Lions finished four strokes behind Colorado State-Pueblo in the team standings after the teams played six holes today to finish the second round. The tournament was condensed to two rounds after weather delays on both days.

UCCS will finish the fall schedule next week at the California State-Monterey Bay Otter Fall Invitational in Seaside, Calif.
