AUSTIN, Texas - Stephen Cook improved by nine strokes from the first round to the second round and finished in a tie for third in the individual standings to lead the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in the St. Edward's Invitational today at Grey Rock Golf Club. The tournament was shortened to a 36-hole event after winter weather conditions delayed the start on both days.
Cook shot a season-best 68 in the final round and finished in a five-way tied for third among the 85 golfers. He tied for the second-best score among any golfer in the tournament, and it was the best round for a Mountain Lion in the 2013-14 season.
