COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team (9-2-1 / 5-2-1 RMAC) begins the final home weekend tomorrow night when it takes on Adams State (4-8 / 2-6 RMAC) Friday at Mountain Lion Stadium at 5 p.m.
 
This Friday is Youth Soccer Night. Youth soccer players that wear their team jerseys, and their parents, will get in free to both the women's and the men's games. The women's game starts at 5 p.m., with the men following at 7 p.m.

The Mountain Lions women's soccer team are coming off a win over Colorado Christian and a tie with Colorado Mesa, who is receiving votes nationally. This is the third game on a four-game home stretch for the Mountain Lions to close out the 2012 home season. 

Adams State is coming off a 3-2 loss to Fort Lewis and a 2-1 loss to Colorado Mesa. The Grizzlies are led on  offense by Kaylee Smith, who leads the team with four goals and seven assists. Their defense is led by goalkeeper Christie Stemple, who is third in the RMAC in saves.

UCCS is led on offense by Second Team RMAC All-Academic student-athlete Hannah Levett, who leads the team in goals with five and in assists with six. The Mountain Lions also have four goals from First Team RMAC All Academic student-athlete Hannah Rather.

The Mountain Lions defense is led by goalkeeper Kelly Schroeder, who is leading the RMAC in shutouts along with being second in the RMAC in save percentage. She is also third in the RMAC in goals against average. Schroeder is also second in saves in the RMAC.

The Mountain Lions and the Grizzlies tied 0-0 in the last meeting between the two teams last season.

The Mountain Lions have several players in reach of career records. Agnes Arnadottir is in fourth with 24 points and needs four to move into a tie with Jessica Escobedo for third on the all-time points list. Levett is in a tie for fifth with 23 points and needs one point to catch Arnadottir on the career points list. Rather needs five points to tie Levett for fifth on the career points list. Ashley Hooper has 14 points needs one point to tie Candice Buckles and two points to pass Buckles into eighth on the career points list.

Levett has nine assists and needs one tie Jessica Escobedo for second in the career assists list. Arnadottir needs one assist to tie Josi Talbot for fifth all time on the career assists list.

Arnadottir needs one goal to pass Jessica Escobedo for third on the career goals list. Levett and Rather are tied for fifth with each other and both need a goal to move into a tie for fourth on the career goals list.

Schroeder is currently at No. 10 all time on the RMAC career shutouts list and needs on to move into a tie for ninth with former goalkeepers Bonnie Lamoine from Fort Lewis and Jessica Jolly (Peyton) from Adams State.
