Schedule Change

Home Baseball Series Shifts Series with Mines

4/16/2026 1:09:00 PM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- This weekend's four-game home baseball series between the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Colorado School of Mines has been adjusted due to expected inclement weather in the Pikes Peak region.

Originally scheduled as a four-game set on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the series will now be played as two doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Forecasts call for rain, snow, wind, and cold temperatures beginning Friday morning and continuing throughout the day.

Both doubleheaders will start at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Park. Each day will feature a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning contest.

Despite the schedule change, Black Out Weekend will proceed as planned. The first 150 fans each day will receive a free UCCS Black Out T-shirt.

UCCS enters the weekend in third place in the conference standings with a 14-5-1 record (25-12-1 overall). Colorado School of Mines sits just behind in fourth place, holding a 12-12 conference mark and a 15-23 overall record.
