HOW IT HAPPENED

James Harbison reached with a two out single to keep the inning alive, as Trevor Dale then doubled to center to bring in the games first run in Harbison. Brenden Killeen then came up and traded places with Dale to score a second for UCCS, as they headed to the fourth inning up 2-0.
- Scoring quieted until the seventh, when UCCS found paydirt once again. Nolan Oliver led off with a walk, but was erased on a double play, setting up James Harbison reaching with a two-out single. Dale got it done once again with a RBI triple, pushing the UCCS lead to 3-0.
- Adams State would answer back in the bottom of the frame, with a single, and two doubles to score their only run of the game, as UCCS won 3-1 to secure the series sweep.
