- Adams State once again answered back with a walk and a pair of singles, but only one run came in as UCCS still led 8-3.
- The Grizzlies miscues cost them again in the fourth, as Tyler Genrich singled with two outs and then moved up to second on a wild pitch. The ball to the backstop set up Cayden Gonzalez to single in Genrich, with the lead now six for UCCS, 9-3.
- Four straight Grizzlies reached in the bottom of the fourth, as the hosts began with a walk, two singles, and a double to bring in a pair of runs. Two more runs came in on the following groundouts, as the Grizzlies cut deep into the deficit, now just down two at 9-7.
- UCCS would continue their balanced offense in the next two innings, scoring three in the fifth, and two in the sixth to bring their total to 14 runs. They clamped down on defense as well, as they only allowed one more run to take game two 14-8 and secure their second win of the series.
