COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the honorees for the 2025-26 Men's Basketball RMAC All-Academic first team an honor roll. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs Mountain Lions program sees

Gunter Daniels,
Joshua Ray,
James Ellis, and
Gavin Carter named to the honor roll.
The awards are nominated and voted on by the league's 15 Sports Information Directors, with eligible students maintaining a 3.50 cumulative grade point average for First Team consideration, and a 3.30 cumulative GPA for honor roll recognition, as well as participation requirements. The highest vote getter is named Player of the Year, with the next highest nine named to the first team. Voters are not permitted to vote for athletes from their own institution.
Cam Lowe, the standout redshirt sophomore from Black Hills State, is highlighted as player of the year. Lowe led the Yellow Jackets to the RMAC regular season and conference tournament championships, as the Yellow Jackets remain alive in the NCAA Tournament, set to take on Dallas Baptist in the Sweet 16 this evening at 6 p.m.

The Mountain Lions concluded their season in the RMAC Quarterfinal with a narrow 74-73 loss to Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D. finishing the season with a 15-14 record.
