COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team earned the No. 2 seed in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championship Tournament and will host No. 7 seed Fort Lewis College on Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
 
Under third-year head coach Misty Wilson, the Mountain Lions have qualified for the conference tournament for the third consecutive season and will host a quarterfinal matchup for the second time in the last three years.
 
UCCS closed the regular season at 19-9 overall and 15-5 in RMAC play, tying Adams State University for second place in the conference standings. The Mountain Lions secured the No. 2 seed after winning the tiebreaker with a 72-63 victory over the Grizzlies on Thursday.  The winner of Tuesday's matchup between UCCS and Fort Lewis will advance to face the winner of No. 3 Adams State and No. 6 MSU Denver in the semifinal round.
 
Regular-season champion Colorado Mesa University (20-0 RMAC) earned the No. 1 seed and will host No. 8 Colorado School of Mines. The remaining quarterfinal features No. 4 Western Colorado University against No. 5 Black Hills State University.
 
The highest remaining seed following Tuesday's quarterfinals will host the RMAC Final Four on March 6-7.
