3/16/2026 12:00:00 PM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five student-athletes from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team have been named to the 2025–26 Academic All–Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday morning. Representing the Mountain Lions on the honor roll are Gia Bradley, Jayla Jackson-Allen, Rylie Ottmann, Ellie Reynolds, and Breelyn Robinson.

For the third consecutive year, Colorado Mesa University senior forward Olivia Reed Thyne was named the RMAC Academic Player of the Year, highlighting a 10-member First Team Academic All-RMAC squad selected by the league's athletic communications directors.  In total, the RMAC recognized 65 women's basketball student-athletes, including the 10 first team selections, on the 2025–26 Academic Honor Roll.

The Mountain Lions concluded their season Saturday night in the NCAA South Central Regional semifinal round, finishing the 2025–26 campaign with a 22-11 overall record. UCCS posted the second-best record in the RMAC at 15-5 and earned the No. 4 seed in the regional tournament.

Each institution's athletic communications directors nominate student-athletes for First Team Academic All-RMAC consideration. Nominees must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet additional academic and participation criteria. The conference's athletic communications directors then vote to determine the First Team and the Academic Player of the Year, with voters not permitted to select their own student-athletes.

The RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA, have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and have used a season of competition.
