COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
– University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball senior
Amyah Moore Allen has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Honorable Mention team, as announced by the organization Wednesday morning.
A native of Colorado Springs, Colo., Moore Allen becomes one of the most decorated players in program history, earning All-America honors following a dominant 2025-26 campaign in which she established herself as one of the top players in NCAA Division II. She becomes the third Mountain Lion in program history to receive All-America accolades, joining Abby Kirchoff and Brittany Hernandez.
The senior guard capped the season averaging 21.0 points per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field across 33 starts. She added 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. Moore Allen finished the season with 694 total points, ranking sixth nationally, while her 21.0 points per game average ranked eighth in Division II.
A consistent offensive force, Moore Allen recorded 20 or more points in 18 games, including a season-high 35-point performance in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament. She also registered multiple 30-point games.
In addition to her scoring prowess, Moore Allen proved to be one of the most complete players in the nation. She ranked among the national leaders in steals per game (2.24) and blocks per game (1.03) for a guard, while also contributing 84 assists on the season.
She capped off her career earning her third straight All-RMAC First Team and RMAC All-Tournament Team honors, while receiving four RMAC Player of the Week awards and being named to the D2CCA All-South Central First Team.
The Mountain Lions (22-11, 15-5 RMAC) closed out their season in the semifinal round of the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. Entering the tournament as the No. 4 seed, UCCS took down Adams State University, 67-62, before falling to top seed and No. 1 ranked Texas Woman's University, 70-59.
