Moore Allen Named to D2CCA All-South Central Region Team

LUBBOCK, Texas – Redshirt-junior Amyah Moore Allen of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team has been named to the 2025 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region First Team, announced Thursday afternoon.

Grace Foster of Lubbock Christian University has been selected as the South Central Region Most Outstanding Player Voting for the award was conducted by NCAA Division II members of the Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).
 
A starter in all 30 games this season, Moore Allen ranks fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in scoring (19.2 points per game) and fifth in field goal percentage, shooting the ball at a 47.4 percent clip (213-of449).  Named the RMAC All-Tournament Team MVP, the guard from Colorado Springs, Colo. leads the team in assists (70), steals (54), and blocks (21).  She recorded a new program record 40 points on Feb. 27 in a home win over Colorado School of Mines and tallied her first career double-double on March 4 in an RMAC quarterfinal win at Adams State University behind 17 points and 10 rebounds.  An All-RMAC First Team selection this season, Moore Allen has poured in double digits in scoring in 28 games and registered at least 20 points in 12 games.
 
The Mountain Lions are the No. 7 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. UCCS will face off against No. 2 seed Lubbock Christian University on Friday, March 14, in Denton, Texas. Tip-off from Texas Woman's University is set for 1:30 p.m. (MT).

Sports information directors from NCAA Division II South Central Region schools and conferences selected the all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month. The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA (and D2CCA) is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
