COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three student-athletes from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team were named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region Teams on Tuesday with defender
Luke Noameshie being selected to the first team and forwards
Miles Seminario and
Nick Walker being voted to the second team.
The Super Region 4 Champion Midwestern State University Mustangs paced all South Central institutions with five all-region selections, including three on the first team and two on the second team, while the Mountain Lions were joined by Fort Lewis College and Metropolitan State University Denver as one three schools to notch three all-region honorees.
The United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region Teams were nominated and voted on by the Head Coaches from the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
A sophomore from Omaha, Neb., Noameshie adds another All-Region First Team honor to his 2025 résumé after compiling a breakout sophomore season in which he was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Year and accrued All-RMAC First Team honors. The second-year defender appeared in 21 games and finished second on the team among field players with 1,639 minutes of action while serving as the anchor of a Mountain Lion defensive unit that ranked fifth in the RMAC with just 1.34 goals allowed per game. As one of the key members of the team's defensive backline, Noameshie spent every minute on the pitch for 13 of the Mountain Lions' 23 games and helped UCCS minimize their opponents' offensive chances by allowing only 13.0 total shots and 4.35 shots on goal per game. Noameshie also used his 6-foot-2 frame as an effective big body in the box on set pieces throughout the season as he scored one goal and recorded a career-best three assists for a total of five points.
A D2CCA All-Region First Team selection a couple weeks ago, Seminario lands United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team accolades for the first time in his career after emerging as one of the Mountain Lions' top offensive threats during the 2025 season. In his final season wearing the black and gold, Seminario led the team with 24 points, 50 shots, and 27 shots on goal while tying for the team lead in goals (10) and assists (4). Across 23 games and 1,722 minutes of action, Seminario also established himself as one of the most effective offensive players in the RMAC as he finished the season ranked inside the top five in the conference for total shots on goal (3
rd), goals (T-3
rd), total shots (4
th), and points (5
th). Seminario finishes his outstanding four-year career with the Mountain Lions as the program's all-time leader in games played (85) while also ranking third all-time in shot on goal percentage (.496), fifth all-time in total shots on goal (62), and 10
th all-time in total shots (125).
Walker joins Seminario on the United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Second Team after a stellar senior season for the Mountain Lions in which he also collected D2CCA All-Region Second Team and All-RMAC First Team accolades. A tactician at the net, Walker was a force for the Mountain Lions' offense throughout the season as he finished the campaign tied for the team lead in goals (10) and ranked second on the team with 22 points, 33 total shots, and 19 shots on goal. Across 1,360 minutes of action, Walker carried the team to victory countless times as seven of his 10 goals registered as game-winners, putting him atop the RMAC and NCAA Division II for the stat category. Although Walker spent just two seasons with UCCS after transferring from California State University Dominguez Hills, he ranks second all-time in program history with nine game-winning goals as a Mountain Lion. In addition, Walker will go down in the record book as one of the most efficient offensive players in team history as he finishes his two-year Mountain Lion career ranked second in shot on goal percentage (.560), third in goals per game (0.49), fifth in points per game (1.11), and seventh in shots on goal per game (1.13).
The 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams for NCAA Division II will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 11.
