COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second consecutive season, senior forward
Miles Seminario of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team has earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Honors as he was selected to the third team for the 2025 campaign.
A second team honoree last year, Seminario becomes just the second student-athlete in UCCS men's soccer program history to secure a repeat selection on the Academic All-America team. Prior to Seminario achieving the feat, Alex VonHolle was the lone Mountain Lion to earn multiple Academic All-America nods as he was named to the first team in 2018 and the second team in 2019.
A native of Colorado Springs, Colo., Seminario earns CSC Academic All-America Third Team accolades after a senior season in which he continued his excellence in the classroom as an electrical engineering major while emerging as one of the Mountain Lions' top offensive threats. Across 23 games during his senior season at UCCS, Seminario led the team with 24 points, 50 shots, and 27 shots on goal while tying for the team lead in goals (10) and assists (4). The fourth year forward also paced all Mountain Lion field players with 1,722 minutes of action on the pitch and finished the season ranked inside the top five in the RMAC for most major offensive categories, including total shots on goal (3
rd), goals (T-3
rd), total shots (4
th), and points (5
th). A mainstay of the program who appeared in every game for the Mountain Lions across the last four seasons, Seminario closes his tenure in the black and gold as the program's all-time leader in games played (85) while sitting third all-time in shot on goal percentage (.496), fifth all-time in total shots on goal (62), and 10
th all-time in total shots (125).
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
