INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The field of 40 teams for the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship was announced on Monday evening, with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team being selected as the No. 10 seed in Super Region 4.

As the No. 10 seed in their quadrant of the bracket, the Mountain Lions (11-5-4, 7-2-1 RMAC) will take on No. 7 seed California State University Los Angeles in a first-round matchup at 4 p.m. (MT) on Friday, Nov. 21 on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Dominguez Hills, Calif. The winner of Friday's first-round matchup between the Mountain Lions and the Golden Eagles will advance to play the No. 2 seed CSU Dominguez Hills at 4 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Under the leadership of head coach Lewis Wilcox, the Mountain Lions are set to make their third consecutive appearance in the men's soccer national tournament after securing the automatic bid from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) with their thrilling comeback victory over Metropolitan State University Denver in the conference tournament championship match on Saturday. In a season in which UCCS has recorded their first conference regular season and tournament titles, the Mountain Lions will look to add more history to their season ledger as they enter the national tournament in search of the first NCAA playoff victory in program history.
