11/14/2025 12:00:00 PM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior Nick Walker headlined a group of nine student-athletes from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team that were recognized on the RMAC All-Academic Teams on Friday afternoon as he was named the RMAC Men's Soccer Academic Player of the Year and earned RMAC All-Academic First Team accolades. Walker was joined on the First Team by senior Miles Seminario, while Sean Belzer, Dimitrios Leonoglou, Jordan Lohr, Diego Macias, Eduardo Macias, Rory Scott, and Dalton Uehling were listed on the Honor Roll.

To be eligible for consideration on the RMAC All-Academic First Team, a student-athlete must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters and carry a cumulative 3.50 grade point average (GPA). All student-athletes that met those requirements but were not selected for the First Team, or have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, automatically qualified for the Honor Roll.

In addition to picking up RMAC All-Academic First Team honors for the first time in his collegiate career, Walker becomes the first men's soccer student-athlete in program history to collect Academic Athlete of the Year accolades after a 2025 campaign in which he excelled both on the pitch and in the classroom as a Health & Wellness Promotion major. Along with his impressive work on the academic front, Walker has played an important role for the Mountain Lions' offensive attack throughout the season as he has recorded eight goals and two assists for a total of 18 points across 16 games played. The Las Vegas, Nev. native proved to be one of the most opportunistic forwards in both the conference and the nation this season with seven of his eight total goals registering as a game-winning goal, which put him atop the RMAC and NCAA Division II ranks for the stat category. Across 1,067 minutes of action, Walker also ranks second on the Mountain Lions in shots (28) and shots on goal (16) while holding an impressive .571 shot on goal percentage.

Seminario secures RMAC All-Academic First team accolades for the second consecutive season after putting together another all-around stellar campaign that saw him serve as the focal point of the Mountain Lions' offensive efforts while also excelling in the classroom as an Electrical Engineering major. Also an All-RMAC First Team selection, Seminario has been a stalwart on the pitch for the Mountain Lions this season as he has recorded nine goals and three assists for a team-leading 21 points while also pacing the squad with 43 total shots and 25 shots on goal. The Colorado Springs native has ascended as one of the top offensive weapons in the conference this season as he currently ranks fourth in shots on goal per game (1.32), tied for fourth in goals (9), and sixth in points (21) and shots per game (2.26).

In addition to the first team accolades for Walker and Seminario, the Mountain Lions also had seven other student-athletes recognized on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
