Mountain Lions Named No. 4 Seed in 2024 RMAC Men’s Soccer Tournament

11/6/2024 10:46:00 PM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Men's Soccer Tournament bracket was announced on Wednesday night with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team (13-1-4, 6-1-3 RMAC) being named the No. 4 seed after recording 21 points during the conference regular season.

As the No. 4 seed, UCCS will host the No. 5 seeded Colorado School of Mines Orediggers (7-9-2, 6-2-2 RMAC) on Sunday, Nov. 10, with kickoff set for 12 p.m. from Mountain Lion Stadium. The winner of the quarterfinal matchup between the Mountain Lions and the Orediggers will make the trip to Pueblo, Colo., to take on the No. 1 seeded Colorado State University Pueblo ThunderWolves in the RMAC Semifinal round.

The RMAC Quarterfinal matchup on the other side of the bracket will have the No. 3 seed Fort Lewis College battling the No. 6 seed Metropolitan State University Denver, with the winner of that matchup advancing to play No. 2 seed Regis University in the second semifinal game.

The Mountain Lions met the Orediggers in the first game of their conference slate on October 3 in Golden, Colo., with a 12th minute goal by freshman Luke Noameshie proving to be the difference in a 1-0 win for UCCS.

All RMAC Championship events, including all five men's soccer championship matches, will be broadcast pay-per-view on the RMAC Network. Purchase options for the fall championships were announced earlier Wednesday and are available at RMACSports.org/buyRMACtv.

Tickets for all RMAC Championship contests are available at RMACSports.org/tickets.
