COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2022 RMAC Baseball Tournament bracket was announced by the conference office Monday morning with UCCS Baseball earning the No. 6 seed (20-30, 15-17 RMAC) to mark the sixth straight season of making it into the conference tournament.
As the No. 1 seed, Colorado Mesa University will serve as the host site with the Mountain Lions set to take on the Mavericks in game three on Wednesday, May 11
th at 7 p.m. in Grand Junction, Colo.
Regis University (27-22-1, 20-12 RMAC) earns the No. 2 seed and will battle No. 5 seed Colorado School of Mines (32-17, 17-15 RMAC) in the first game on Wednesday at 11 a.m. as game two features No. 3 seed Metropolitan State University of Denver (31-19, 20-12 RMAC) and No. 4 seed Colorado State University Pueblo (26-24, 17-15 RMAC) at 3 p.m.
The Mountain Lions took on the Mavericks in their second conference series of the season with CMU taking three out of four games. In the final game of the series, UCCS bounced back to win 14-6 behind a five-inning performance from
Jon Sotto who limited CMU to three runs as
Caleb Stubbings notched seven RBI on a multi-home run outing to finish 4-for-6 at the plate.
