TROPHY CLUB, Texas – University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf braved through gusty and rainy conditions on Monday to currently sit in 11
th place with a 307 after play was halted in round two due to darkness in Trophy Club, Texas.

FROM THE TEE
- Redshirt junior Travis Bossio (T15) was the leading Mountain Lion through one complete round after shooting two-over par on the back-nine and one-under par on the front-nine for a 73 as he recorded birdies on the par-5 seventh and par-5 14th. With four holes left to play in the second round, Bossio has maintained a one-over par through 13 holes as he's repeated birdies on both hole No. 7 and No. 14.
- Freshman Rio Newcombe (T46) carded a 79 in round one where he registered two birdies with both coming on the par-5 seventh and par-5 10th. So far in round two, Newcombe upped his par count to 10 and birdied the par-5 fifth with four holes left.
- Barrett Jones (T66) has notched 20 pars in 32 holes of play after shooting a 77 (+5) in round one as Brady Haake (T66) carded a 12-over par in round one and has posted three birdies behind a two-over par with four holes left to play in round two tomorrow morning.
- At a six-over par (78) Brandon Bervig (T70) shot the third lowest round one score for UCCS after birdieing three of five holes on the front-nine while also making 15 pars on the day.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- Arkansas Tech University currently holds the lead at three-under par (292).
- Jake Doggett of Midwestern State University leads 90 individuals at eight under-par.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- Travis Bossio paces the Mountain Lions with 20 pars and five birdies.
- Brady Haake and Bossio lead UCCS in par-3 scoring at two-over par. Bossio also leads the Mountain Lions in par-4 scoring at four-over par and par-5 scoring at four-under par.

- Play will resume at 7 a.m. (MT) tomorrow and will go right into round three once second round play has concluded.
