KOHALA COAST, Hawaii – University of Colorado Colorado Springs Men's Golf notched the share of a tournament win for the first time in over three years on Saturday as the Mountain Lions roared back to shoot a five-over par 565 (284, 281) at University of Hawaii at Hilo's Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, becoming co-champions with California State University San Marcos (+5, 565).

FROM THE TEE
- Clawing back to finish in the top-10 was Travis Bossio as an even-par 70 was backed by three birdies and 12 pars on Saturday, including two birdies and six pars on the back-nine to finish tied for 10th at one-over par 141.
- Barrett Jones (T19) made a five-shot recovery from Friday as the redshirt senior went under-par by carding a one-under par 69 on Saturday. Jones racked up five birdies in round two as he posted a two-under par on the course's back-nine with two birdies and six pars that consisted of making birdie on par-5's 15th and 18th to finish at three-over par 143 for the tournament.
- Brady Haake (T27) was on a mission in day two as he caught fire with four birdies in five holes on the back-nine to help garner a stellar seven birdies for a three-under par 67 on the day and 145 (+5) on the tournament. Haake made an incredible 11-stroke improvement from round one as he tallied up a total of eight birdies and 19 pars through 36 holes.
- Both Brandon Bervig (T27) and James Perry (T27) also wrapped up the tournament at five-over par (145) as Bervig bagged 15 pars in his second and final round with Perry adding nine pars and two birdies of his own for scores of five-over par (75) and six-over par (76), respectively.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- Individually, Nathan Jetton of Stanislaus State University wins the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate after finishing five-under par (135) with a three-under par 67 carded on Saturday.
- UCCS and CSU San Marcos finish the 36-hole tournament as co-champions at five-over par (565) with CSU San Marcos registering an even-par and the Mountain Lions carding a one-over par in the final round.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- The Mountain Lions become co-champions for the first time since Oct. 8, 2019 when they tied for first place at the Concordia Invite in Portland, Oregon.
- The Mountain Lions come away with the tournament's top par-3 score after turning in a two-over par score and 3.04 stroke average.
- UCCS also made a top-10 presence in par-4 and par-5 scoring as a team with the Mountain Lions finishing tied for the seventh-best par-4 score (+21) and the sixth-best par-5 score (-4).
- UCCS didn't stop there as they worked ahead to claim the fifth most pars (116) while tying for the fourth most birdies (26) in the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate.
- Brady Haake ties his season-low round at three-under par as he finished the tournament tying for the fourth-best par-3 score (-1), and also tying for the fifth most birdies (nine).
- Travis Bossio, Barrett Jones, and Brandon Bervig all tied for 10th in par-3 scoring after carding an even-par.
- Bervig and Bossio also swung their way to the leaderboard in total pars as Bervig tied for the third most pars (29) with Bossio tying for the fifth most (27).
