Brady Haake opened the 2021 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament on Sunday afternoon with an even par 72 to lead the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team to a second place standing. After one round of action in the three-round conference championship tournament, the Mountain Lions own a 297 and are 10 strokes behind team leader Colorado State University Pueblo (287).

Haake opened the tournament with a birdie on his first hole (No. 5) and added two more on holes No. 18 before finishing the round with a birdie on his final hole (No. 4).
Just one stroke and two places behind Haake is
Travis Bossio with a 73. Bossio fired an eagle on hole No. 10 and added birdies on holes No. 14 and 18 to shoot a 34 on the back nine.
Close behind Haake and Bossio is
Barrett Jones with a 74. Jones, who registered a birdie on hole No. 4, is currently tied for ninth place.
Isaac Spillum opened the tournament carding a 78 and is tied for 26
th overall.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
The ThunderWolves lead all nine teams with a one-under par 287. Nicholas Schwartz of Fort Lewis College is the individual leader, shooting a three-under par 69.

Round two of the tournament will see the Mountain Lions tee off beginning Monday at 1:14 p.m. from hole No. 1
