th place after turning in an eight-under par 582 at the Pueblo Country Club.

FROM THE TEE
- Improving from their round one score was Brady Haake who shot four strokes better on Tuesday by carding an even-par 71 to finish with a 146 on the tournament (75, 71). Haake's day started off with a birdie on hole No. 14 as he proceeded to birdie back-to-back holes on hole No. 17 and No. 18 to notch five total birdies on the day.
- Redshirt senior Ignacio de La Vega matched his birdie count from day one to shoot a one-over par 72 by beginning his day with a birdie on the par 5 hole No. 11, and also ending his day with a birdie to total 10 in the tournament. The Mexico native ended Tuesday as the top Mountain Lion finisher as he totaled a 143 (71, 72) and tied for 27th place.
- Redshirt sophomore Brandon Bervig ended his day nicely by shooting three-under par on the back nine after birdieing two of his last three-holes to place tied for 35th and card a three-over par 145 for the tournament (71, 74).
- Freshman Rio Newcombe finished among the top in the tournament for Par 3 scoring by tying for the best score with a one-under par as he went on to finish with a 148 (73, 75).
- Redshirt junior Barrett Jones started his day off with a birdie on two of his first three holes as he shot even-par on his front nine while notching six birdies for the tournament and finishing with a 150 (75, 75).
TOURNAMENT LEADERS
- Oklahoma Christian University won the 19-team tournament with a 17-under par 551.
- Alejandro Armijo of Oklahoma Christian worked his way back to become the individual winner after carding an eight-under par 134 for the tournament (68, 66).
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- As a team, UCCS registered the fifth most birdies (35) and claimed the second best par 5 average and score (4.60, -16) in the 36-hole tournament.
- Both Brady Haake and Rio Newcombe tied for the best par 3 scoring at a one-under par and 2.90 average.
- Ignacio de La Vega and Brandon Bervig helped boast UCCS' par 5 scoring with de La Vega recording the second-best score at seven-under par and Bervig tying for the sixth best at five-under par.

- UCCS men's golf will wrap-up their fall season with the two-day Otter Invitational, hosted by California State University Monterey Bay, on Monday, Oct. 18 and Tuesday, Oct. 19 at Bayonet Golf Course.
