Jack Duguid recorded an eagle and four birdies in the final round of the 2019 NCAA South Central/West Regional, hosted by Dixie State University at the Ledges Golf Club in St. George, Utah. Duguid shaved off six strokes today from yesterday's round to card a three-under par 69, finishing in a tie for 19
th place overall with a three-round total of 215 (71, 75, 69).
Duguid hit par on his first five holes before recording a double bogey on his sixth hole. He bounced back to shoot a five-under par in his next six holes and posted a four-under par for his final nine holes of the tournament, including an eagle on hole No. 1.
Host team Dixie State led all 20 teams with a 17-under par 847. The individual title went to Colorado Christian University's Chase Carlson who bested the field with a 12-under par 204.
DSU, UC-San Diego, California State Monterey Bay and Sonoma State University were the top four team finishers to qualify for the NCAA DII National Championship Tournament. Carlson, along with Chico State's Josh McCollum qualified as individuals.
