Jack Duguid added four strokes to his total on Friday. Competing at The Ledges Golf Club in St. George, Utah, Duguid is currently tied with nine other golfers for 32
nd place with a two-over par 146.
Duguid started round two teeing off from hole No. 1 in the second wave of golfers. He shot par in his first two holes before hitting a birdie on his third hole. He finished the front nine sinking par on his next five holes before a double bogey on hole No. 9. In the back nine, Duguid birdied on hole No. 12 for his third of the tournament. He notched a two-over par 38 in the final nine holes to finish with a 75 in round two.
Host team Dixie State University remains on top of the 20-team leaderboard after carding a 565 (-11) in the first two rounds. Chase Carlson of Colorado Christian University owns a 135 (-9) to lead all 108 golfers.
The third and final round of the postseason regional tournament will begin Saturday morning.
