SANTEE, Calif. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team completed one round at the 69
th Annual UC-San Diego SoCal Intercollegiate, held at Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, Calif. Round two was halted until Tuesday morning due to darkness.
The Mountain Lions are sitting in 15
th place with a team score of 303. Stanislaus State leads the 16-team tournament with a one-under par 287.
Leading the Mountain Lions in the first round is
Jack Duguid who is tied for 14
th place after carding a 73.
Peter Johns is second on the team and tied for 38
th place with a 75. Rounding out the Mountain Lions top scorers are
Isaac Spillum with a 76 (tied-50
th), and
Ignacio de La Vega who is three strokes behind Spillum and in 68
th place.
The final holes of round two will begin on Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. (MT), followed by the complete third round.
