BOULDER, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs indoor track & field teams competed in the Colorado Invitational over the weekend with several athletes earning top marks for the Mountain Lions.
On the women's side,
Kayla Wooten earned an NCAA Division II qualifying time of 4:58.69 as
Molly Klotz did the same in the 800m with a time of 2:13.32.
Sprinter
Kayla Zink also notched a provisional time of 7.62 seconds in the 60m finals.
For the men's team,
Cameron Wright notched a provisional height of 4.85m to take fourth place.
On the track,
Caleb Simons also placed fourth with a provisional time of 48.16 seconds in the 400m.
The teams will travel south next weekend to take part in the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, which is hosted by New Mexico.
