Brooke Peterson - No. 19 Women's T&F Ranking in Week 1 of the National Poll

Women’s Track and Field Ranks No. 19 in Week 1 USTFCCCA National TFRI

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's track & field team ranks No. 19 in Week 1 of the United States Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Indoor Track & Field Rating Index with 117.56 TFRI points. 

Grand Valley State takes over the top of the women's rankings with 289.75 TFRI points, while Harding sits in the second place spot with 254.43 TFRI points. CSU Pueblo is the leading RMAC representative with a No. 6 ranking and 181.76 TFRI points. Colorado School of Mines is the only other RMAC representative ahead of UCCS, placing 17th with 123.49 TFRI points. 

Through the first week of the season, the Mountain Lions have recorded a total of five NCAA provisional qualifying marks with three of these being within the top 10 in NCAA Division II Track and Field.  *Converted for altitude/track size

In the first edition of the USTFCCCA South Central Regional Rankings, West Texas A&M takes the lead with 219.37 TFRI points, while UCCS ranks 6th.
