COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs indoor track & field teams competed at the Air Force Collegiate Open on Friday, their final tune-up before the RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships next week.
On the men's side, William Ross notched an NCAA Division II provisional mark while winning triple jump with leap of 14.74m. Ross edged out teammate
Zaccre Kenward who took second with a distance of 14.41m.
Pole vaulter
Cameron Wright cleared 4.72m, which was a provisional height.
On the track the 4x400m relay team recorded the second fastest time in the RMAC with a time of 3:16.52, which is a provisional time.
The women's team saw
Molly Klotz run the mile in a provisional time of 5:03.67 to take second place. The result was her best time of the season in the event.
The Mountain Lions are back in action next Friday and Saturday at the RMAC Championships, which will be held at the Steinhauer Fieldhouse on the campus of Colorado School of Mines.
