RECAP | Duguid Finishes in Top Ten of Otter Invitational

SEASIDE, Calif. – Jack Duguid led the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's golf team in the three-round, two-day Otter Invitational tournament, hosted by California State University, Monterey Bay at Bayonet-Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Course (par 72, 6,848 yards) in Seaside, Calif.  Duguid placed eighth overall after today's round of 70, moving his tournament total to 217 (72, 75, 70).  As a team, UCCS finished 12th overall after carding a 906 (290, 309, 307).
 
Ignacio de La Vega tallied a 12-over par 228.  After opening the tournament with a 72, he posted a 78 in the second and third rounds and finished 50th overall.  Clay McCrory was three strokes behind de La Vega to place 60th overall (72, 76, 83), followed by Peter Johns' 64th place finish of 232 (74, 81, 77).
 
Lynn University won the 17-team tournament.  LU shot a three-under par 861.  Christian Bosso from the University of West Florida earned the individual title. Bosso notched a 66 in the final round to finish with a 209 (seven-under par).
 
The Otter Invitational closed out the fall portion of the Mountain Lions fall season.
