TORRENCE, Calif. – Sophomore William Mayhew represented the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's track & field team on Friday at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays.

Mayhew ran the 800m, nearly earning an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time after crossing the finish line in 1:52.66. The provisional time in the 800m is 1.52.33.

The sophomore was the third fastest Division II finisher in the predominantly Division I field.

Mayew and the rest of the Mountain Lions are back in action Saturday, April 22 at Colorado Mines' Nature's Bakery Invitational.
