GOLDEN, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's indoor track & field team completed the regular season on Saturday with several notable performances at the Colorado Mines Joe Davies Invitational.
In the 800m,
Molly Klotz was the top collegiate finisher in the event with the 11
th fastest time in Division II, crossing the finish line in second place with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:13.74.
In similar fashion,
Natalie Polei took second place in the 3,000m with a time of 11:02.47. The junior was also the top collegiate finisher in the event.
The UCCS distance medley relay team earned a second place finish with a provisional qualifying time of 12:19.98.
In the field events,
Josie Eder also placed second overall in the pole vault after clearing 3.40m (11'1.75") on her first attempt.
The Mountain Lions now look to the RMAC Championships, which will be held Feb. 24-25 at the Donald E. Young Center on the campus of Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D.
