GOLDEN, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs senior runner Chantelle Fondren continued to lower her NCAA qualifying time in the mile run with a dominating performance today at the Joe Davies Classic. She ran 5 minutes, 7.36 and won by more than 12 seconds.

Fondren is No. 21 in the Division II performance lists with an adjusted time of 4:55.26. She won today's race by more than 12 seconds ahead of the second-place runner and more than 16 seconds ahead of the nearest collegiate runner.

Molly Klotz finished second in the 400-meter dash with 1:00.56 and was the top Division II sprinter in the field.
