NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team has been recognized for its success in the classroom, earning recognition as a 2025-26 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Academic Honor Squad. In addition, nine Mountain Lions were named to the 2025-26 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll.
UCCS was one of 357 women's lacrosse programs across NCAA Divisions I, II, III and the NAIA to receive Academic Honor Squad distinction. Teams earn the award by posting a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or higher during the academic year. For the 2025-26 academic year, the UCCS women's lacrosse team boasted a 3.348 GPA.
The IWLCA also recognized 568 student-athletes from 65 Division II institutions on its Academic Honor Roll. To qualify, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Peyton Ross,
Allie Schell,
Sarah Urbanic,
Ashley Weiss, and
Jade Wilson.
UCCS concluded the 2026 season with a 10-6 overall record and an 8-2 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The Mountain Lions won the program's first RMAC Regular Season Championship and recorded the first victories in program history over Colorado Mesa University and Regis University.
