The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced Tuesday morning with two University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse student-athletes earning all-district recognition. Earning her second straight appearance on the team is
Kendra Knutson, alongside senior
Sydnee-Anne Moeller.
The Academic All-District® programs recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The CSC Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams include the following 13 sports: Beach Volleyball, Bowling, Crew/Rowing, Fencing, Field Hockey, Golf, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Rifle, Skiing, Water Polo and Wrestling.
Knutson, a senior defender from Savage, Minn., started all 16 games for the Mountain Lions in 2026, and was one of four UCCS players to start every contest. The business major recorded 27 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers while earning Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team and All-RMAC Second Team honors. She also garnered RMAC All-Academic First Team and RMAC Honorable Mention recognition in 2025, RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll and All-RMAC Second Team honors in 2024, and All-RMAC First Team accolades in 2023.
Moeller, a senior attacker from Los Angeles, Calif., appeared in all 16 games and made two starts during the 2026 season. A communications major, she won the 2026 RMAC Summit Award and was named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team. Moeller finished the year with eight goals and four assists, placing 15 of her 19 shots on goal and scoring two player-up goals. She recorded a season-high two goals and one assist in UCCS' 20-9 win over Westminster and was named the 2025-26 UCCS Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Moeller also earned RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll recognition twice during her career.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 7.
