The Thomas F. McLaughlin Award is presented annually to the top student-athletes who have excelled in their sport, achieved in the classroom, and who have been a leader on their team and served their communities. These individuals represent the very best that Mountain Lion student-athletes have to offer.

- Currently ranks sixth on the South Central Region Performance List in the Hammer Throw (27th in Division II), seventh in the Shot Put (13.56m), and 39th in the Discus Throw (37.51m)
- RMAC Indoor Track & Field Champion in the Weight Throw (19.3m), setting a new school record
- All-RMAC Indoor Track & Field First Team (Weight Throw)
- All-RMAC Indoor Track & Field Second Team (Shot Put)
- Finished third at the RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in the shot put (13.91m), ranking second all-time in school history

- Ranks No. 2 in program history for the indoor shot put (13.91m) and outdoor shot put (13.90m)

- Scored the game-winning goal in the team's RMAC Championship victory vs. MSU Denver on Nov. 15.

- Holds all-time program record in total games played (85)
- Ranks third all-time in career shot on goal percentage (.496), fifth in total shots on goal (62), and 10th in total shots (125)

- Scored the game-winning goal in the team's RMAC Tournament Championship victory against MSU Denver, marking the first tournament championship in program history.

His work rate on the field, his dedication to his studies, and his ability to connect with teammates really sets him apart as an elite student athlete. He has won many awards since being here, but this one, I am sure, will be very special to him. Congratulations, Miles!"
