COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2026 women's basketball all-conference teams Thursday morning, with two UCCS Mountain Lions earning recognition. Redshirt senior
Amyah Moore Allen was named to the All-RMAC First Team, while junior
Ayianna Johnson received RMAC Honorable Mention honors.
Olivia Reed-Thyne of Colorado Mesa University was selected as the RMAC Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. Her head coach, Taylor Wagner, was named RMAC Coach of the Year. Elaina Watson of Adams State University earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, while Addison Miranda from South Dakota Mines was named RMAC Freshman of the Year. All-RMAC teams and specialty awards are selected by a vote of the conference's 15 head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own players.
Moore Allen earns her third consecutive All-RMAC First Team selection after another standout season. The Colorado Springs native has been one of the league's top two-way players, ranking third in the conference in scoring (20.4 points per game), third in steals (2.2 per game), and fourth in blocks (1.1 per game). She also ranks sixth in the RMAC in field goal percentage at 48.4 percent (225-of-465) while averaging 32 minutes per game.
A four-time RMAC Player of the Week this season, Moore Allen has scored in double figures in all but one game, posting at least 20 points in 15 contests and 30 or more points three times. Starting all 29 games for the Mountain Lions, she has recorded at least one steal in 27 games and at least one block in 17 games.
Johnson, a transfer from the University of Colorado, has appeared in 28 games with 16 starts during her first season with the Mountain Lions. The junior forward is averaging 12.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while adding 27 steals, 15 blocks, and nine assists. She has recorded three double-doubles this season and has pulled down at least five rebounds in 17 games.
The No. 2-seeded Mountain Lions will face No. 3 seed Adams State Grizzlies in the RMAC semifinal round Friday night. The game will be hosted by top-seeded Colorado Mesa Mavericks in Grand Junction.
