COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs senior guard Amyah Moore Allen has been named to the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Basketball All-South Central Region First Team, the organization announced Thursday morning.

Olivia Reed Thyne of Colorado Mesa Unviersty was selected as the 2025-26 All-South Central Region Player of the Year.  Sports information directors from NCAA Division II South Central Region schools and conferences selected the all-region teams. The process concludes with D2CCA All-America selections, which will be announced later this month.

A three-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) First Team selection, Moore Allen has delivered a standout season for the Mountain Lions. She leads the conference and ranks seventh nationally in field goal attempts (517), while ranking second in the RMAC and sixth in Division II in made field goals (251).

A Colorado Springs native, Moore Allen has established herself as one of the league's top two-way players. She ranks second in the RMAC in total points (658) and points per game (21.2) - marks that rank seventh and eighth nationally, respectively. She also sits third in the conference in steals (69), steals per game (2.3), and free throws attempted (171), while ranking fourth in free throws made (129) and ninth in free throw percentage (75.4 percent).

Moore Allen earned RMAC Player of the Week honors four times this season and set a new UCCS single-season scoring record with 658 points, surpassing the previous mark of 633 points set by Abby Kirchoof in 2015. After breaking the record in Saturday's RMAC Championship game against Colorado Mesa University, she was named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team for the third time in her career.

Starting all 31 games this season, Moore Allen has recorded three double-doubles, while adding 78 assists (2.5 per game) and averaging 5.6 rebounds per game. She has scored in double figures in all but one game, including 17 games with 20 or more points and five games with at least 30 points.

UCCS (21-10) earned the No. 4 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament and will face No. 5 seed Adams State University on Friday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. (MT) in Denton, Texas.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The D2CCA serves as a key communications link among conferences as they discuss policies and regulations that impact NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
