Moore Allen Earns Fourth Player of the Week Nod

2/23/2026 3:00:00 PM

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball student-athlete Amyah Moore Allen has earned her fourth Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor of the season, the conference office announced Monday.

The redshirt-senior guard — a two-time RMAC Defensive Player of the Week selection this year — has now been named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in 2025-26.
Moore Allen powered the Mountain Lions to a pair of key road victories last week, lifting UCCS past Colorado School of Mines (72-70) and Regis University (83-64).

On Thursday at Mines, Moore Allen delivered in the clutch, draining the game-winning shot with three seconds remaining to break a 70-70 tie and secure the victory. She finished with 34 points and four assists, shooting 12-of-22 (54.5 percent) from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

Two days later against Regis, the Colorado Springs native scored 21 points in just 21 minutes, adding eight rebounds and four assists while shooting an efficient 9-of-13 from the floor in the 19-point win.

Across the two victories, Moore Allen averaged 27.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game while shooting 60 percent from the field and a flawless 11-for-11 at the line.

Nationally, she ranks ninth in NCAA Division II with 20.5 points per game — the third-highest scoring average in the RMAC. She also ranks second in the conference in steals (2.3 per game), fourth in blocks (1.1), fifth in field goal percentage (48.9 percent), and 10th in free throw percentage (74.1 percent).

UCCS enters the final weekend of the regular season at 17-9 overall and tied for third place in the RMAC standings at 13-5 with Black Hills State University. The Mountain Lions sit one game behind Adams State University (14-4 RMAC).

UCCS will host Adams State on Thursday at 5 p.m. before closing out the regular season Saturday at home against New Mexico Highlands University.
