CHICO, Calif. – The California State University, Chico Department of Athletics announced Tuesday that this weekend's baseball series with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Mountain Lions will shift to back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday due to forecasted rain on Sunday.
The new weekend slate will begin on Friday at 2 p.m. PST, 3 p.m. MST, with game one scheduled for nine innings. Game two will be a seven-inning contest which will begin half an hour after the conclusion of game one. On Saturday, play is scheduled to begin with a nine-inning bout at noon PST, 1 p.m. MST, with the seven-inning finale following 30 minutes after the final out of game three.
