COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team's junior forward
Brooke Pavlich earned Week 8 RMAC Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, being named Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in her collegiate career.
For the first time this season and second time in her collegiate career, Pavlich earns Offensive Player of the Week the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced this morning, as she netted four goals across two matches.
Pavlich and the Mountain Lion offense scored 12 goals this past week in a 7-0 win over New Mexico Highlands University and a 5-0 victory over Adams State University. The offensive stalwart played just half the match against NMHU on Thursday afternoon and still managed to score twice, with her first being her fourth game-winner of the season.
Much like Thursday's match, Pavlich showed out for the black and gold again on Sunday against ASU. She went on to play for 62 minutes and notched another brace on just three shots. With her four goals this week, Pavlich is now tied for the most goals in a junior season in UCCS women's soccer program history with 13.
Pavlich and the Mountain Lions will head home this week for their final matches of the regular season to take on Colorado Mesa University on Friday, Oct. 23, and Westminster University on Sunday, Oct. 25.
