ALAMOSA, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) women's soccer team hit the three-goal mark for the third match in a row in a 5-0 victory over Adams State University.

All-Time Series: The Mountain Lions move to 15-4 all-time against the Grizzlies.  
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Mountain Lions put pressure on ASU early, as Brooke Pavlich took the first shot of the match in the sixth minute. Senior Taylynn Levi fed Pavlich the ball at the top of the box with only the goalkeeper to beat, but the shot went wide left as the Grizzlies avoided an early goal.
• In the 13^th minute, UCCS would break through to score its first goal of the match and eighth of the week. Elise Broberg lined up a corner kick and sent the ball right in front of the ASU goal as Levi was there for the header to go up 1-0.
• The Mountain Lions struck again in the 37^th minute, this time off the foot of Abby Stassi. The play began with Sophia Broberg who found Charlize Ellsworth at the top of the box with a defender in close range. Ellsworth would loop a pass 15 feet in the air over the ASU defender as Stassi was there to send a powerful shot into the back of the net before the ball ever reached the ground. UCCS would go on to take the 2-0 lead into halftime.
• UCCS would net another goal in the first 11 minutes of the second half as Viktoria Valdimarsdottir sent a cross from the right side of the net to the far-side post for Ellsworth to tap in for her third goal of the season.
• The Mountain Lions' offense continued to attack, as Pavlich joined in on the scoring, netting her 12^th goal of the season off a well-placed cross from Ellsworth once again. Pavlich would soon find the back of the net again in the 74^th minute as she connected on a header off a corner kick to put UCCS up 5-0.
• UCCS would run out the clock for the next 15 minutes as the Mountain Lions earned their third straight win.

STATS FROM THE GAME

• The Mountain Lions outshot the Grizzlies, 17-4.
• UCCS also held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-0.
• Pavlich, Levi, Stassi, and Ellsworth all scored in the match.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

• UCCS has now won 10 straight matches against the Grizzlies.
• Valdimarsdottir notched her first assist as a Mountain Lion.
• Pavlich is now tied for first all-time in goals in a junior season with her 13^th this afternoon.
• The Mountain Lions scored their 46^th goal of the season, which is now sixth most goals in a season in program history.
• After this past weekend, UCCS has clinched a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament berth.

The Mountain Lions will head home next week for the final two matches of the regular season against Colorado Mesa University on Friday, Oct. 23^rd at 12 p.m., and Westminster University on Sunday, Oct. 25^th at 2:30 p.m.
