2025 iwlca academic honor roll, squad

Mountain Lions Collect IWLCA Academic Recognition

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – Ten Mountain Lions from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team were recognized on the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Academic Honor Roll, announced by the organization Wednesday afternoon.  As a program, the Mountain Lions were also named to the 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
 
Nearly 600 student-athletes from 84 different institutions were named to the 2024-25 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. 
 
To earn IWLCA Academic Squad status, teams must have earned at least a 3.20 GPA or higher for the academic year.  More than 380 NCAA institutions across Division I, II, III, and NAIA were named as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year.
 
The Mountain Lions closed out the 2025 season with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-4 mark in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference games.  UCCS finished third in the RMAC standings and was ranked No. 7 in all three regular-season NCAA Midwest Region rankings.
