THIS WEEK'S ACTION
- The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's and women's track & field teams are set to host the 2025 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships inside the Mountain Lion Fieldhouse in Colorado Springs, Colo. on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1. Friday's action will start at 8 a.m. with the men's weight throw with Saturday's events kicking off at 9:45 a.m. at the men's heptathlon 60m hurdles.
- The Mountain Lion men's squad has won four of the past five indoor conference championships dating back to the 2019-20 indoor season but will be looking for a return to the top of the podium after finishing second last season behind Colorado School of Mines. On the women's side, UCCS is in search of their first indoor conference championship since winning three consecutive titles from 2020-22.

PARKING
- Spectators can park in Lot 580, which is located near the Mountain Lion Fieldhouse. The small parking lots directly attached to the Fieldhouse will be used for handicap-accessible parking as well as for meet officials. Spectators will be able to drop off at the South Entrance of the facility if needed, but then the vehicle will need to park in Lot 580. A shuttle will be available at the bottom of the hill for the use of all spectators.Â
RMAC NETWORK
- Fans unable to attend in-person will be able to view both days of the 2025 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on the RMAC Network. The conference will have day passes available to purchase for $9.99 per day, which will give fans access to the main feed of the track events in addition to live coverage of all field events.
TICKETS
- Tickets for the 2025 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships can be purchased through Hudl Tickets. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the facility. Tickets will be sent via email with a QR code that can be scanned at the gates when you arrive.

2024-25 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON IN REVIEW
- Entering the conference championship meet, the UCCS men's and women's teams have combined to record a total of 40 NCAA provisional qualifying marks for the 2024-25 indoor season. USTFCCCA NATIONAL RANKINGS
- UCCS enters their indoor conference championship weekend holding a pair of top 15 national rankings in the Week 5 USTFCCCA National Indoor Track & Field Rating Index, with the men's team sitting at No. 10 and the women's team at No. 13.
- The conference championship meet will feature a handful of teams that are recieving top 25 national attention in the Week 5 USTFCCCA National Indoor Track & Field Rating Index that was released on Tuesday, Feb. 25. On the men's side, the RMAC has four nationally ranked schools with all of them sitting inside the top 10 as No. 10 UCCS is joined by No. 4 Mines, No. 7 Adams State University, and No. 9 Colorado State University Pueblo. The women's rankings also feature four nationally ranked schools from the RMAC including No. 4 Adams State, No. 7 CSU Pueblo, No. 8 Mines, and No. 13 UCCS.Â

UCCS UNDER HEAD COACH ROSS FELLOWS
- The 2024-25 season marks Ross Fellows' ninth season as the head coach of the UCCS men's and women's track & field programs. Under his leadership, the Mountain Lions have won a total of 16 RMAC Championship trophies (8 Indoor, 8 Outdoor), including the first indoor and outdoor conference titles in both men's and women's program history.
- A 15-time RMAC Coach of the Year recipient, Fellows has coached a total of 108 RMAC individual event champions, eight RMAC Track Athletes of the Year, nine RMAC Field Athletes of the Year, and four RMAC Freshman of the Year. The Mountain Lions have become perennial contenders on the national stage under the supervision of Fellows, earning 178 individual entries and 14 relay entries to the indoor and outdoor national championship meets since the start of the 2016-17 season while also recording 13 top 25 team finishes, earning 153 All-America honors, and winning six individual national championships in the same period.
- In addition, UCCS track & field has performed well in the classroom with Fellows at the head of the program, compiling 56 RMAC All-Academic First Team honorees, five RMAC Academic Athletes of the Year, and 21 CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-America accolades.
NCAA DIVISION II INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
- The participant field for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced at approximately 4 p.m. (MT) on Tuesday, March 4. The three-day national championship meet is set to take place on March 13-15 as part of the NCAA Division II Winter Championship Festival at the Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis, Ind.
- New for the 2024-25 indoor season, NCAA Division II has implemented a pre-determined field size as the national committee will select the top 18 student-athletes in individual events, top 16 in combined events, and top 12 relay groups to compete at the national championship meet.
