INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team ranks fouth in week two of the South Central regional rankings announced by the National Collegiate Athletic Association on Wednesday.

The top seed in the South Central is Dallas Baptist University who also tops the United Soccer Coaches National Poll with a perfect 16-0-0 record out of the Lone Star Conference (LSC). The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) showcases the rest of the top four teams with Colorado School of Mines (12-2-2) checking in as the second seed, with Colorado Mesa University (12-2-2) clocking in as the third seed just ahead of UCCS. Midwestern State University, and Regis University are the fifth and sixth seeds, respectively, accounting for the final two NCAA postseason positions. Texas Women's University and The University of Texas at Tyler sit in the seventh and eighth seeded spots just outside of the postseason field.

Two regional polls remain, with the final poll being revealed during the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Selection Show on Monday, November 17^th at 4:30 p.m. MT. The prior poll to the final selection will be announced next Wednesday with the teams ranked in projected seeding order, leading up to the selection show and final poll on November 17^th.

The Mountain Lions finished the regular season with a 12-2-4 record overall and a 8-1-3 record in RMAC play, as they begin their postseason journey on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mountain Lion Stadium.
