COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Junior Kathryn Carroll of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's track & field team has been tabbed as the Week 4 RMAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after posting an NCAA provisional qualifying performance in the women's triple jump on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Colorado Running Company UCCS Invite.
 
A native of Longmont, Colo., Carroll collects RMAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her collegiate career after posting a second-place finish among 20 competitors in the women's triple jump on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the CRC UCCS Invite with a personal best and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 12.00m. In addition to moving her into third-place all-time in UCCS indoor program history for the women's triple jump, Carroll's leap currently has her ranked atop the RMAC and tied for 12^th in all of NCAA Division II for the event. 
 
Carroll marks the fifth UCCS student-athlete to earn a weekly conference award during the 2024-25 indoor season.

The Mountain Lions return to action this weekend as a small group of student-athletes will head to Golden, Colo., on Friday, Jan. 31 for the Mines Winter Classic before the full squad makes the trip to Gunnison, Colo., on Saturday, Feb. 1 for Western Colorado University's Big Red Machine Open.
