COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms across the state, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs athletic department has announced schedule changes for today's baseball and softball contests along with the meet schedule for day two of the 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Grand Junction, Colo.
Baseball vs. Adams State:
- Originally scheduled to conclude their four-game set against Adams State with a doubleheader this afternoon, UCCS Baseball will now shift the final two games of the series back one day to tomorrow, Sunday, April 28. The Mountain Lions and Grizzlies are expected to play a doubleheader featuring a nine-inning game starting at 12 p.m. followed by a seven-inning game.
Softball vs. Fort Lewis:
- UCCS softball will have today's originally scheduled doubleheader canceled due to unplayable field conditions. The games will not be made up.
Track & Field at 2024 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships:
- With thunderstorms expected in the area later this afternoon, the conference has adjusted the schedule for today's championship action. The updated schedule can be viewed on the respective schedule pages of the men's and women's track & field teams or by clicking here.
