COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball student-athlete Maison White has been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball team, announced by the organization Tuesday morning.
 
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
 
The junior forward from Grantsville, Utah is making her second straight appearance on the CSC Academic All-District First Team.  The owner of a 3.642 GPA and a Criminal Justice major, White has been named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team the past two years.  She finished her junior campaign ranked 13^th in the league in scoring (13.0 points per game), second in field goal percentage (55.9 percent), third in rebounds per game (9.3) and seventh in blocks per game (0.9). 
 
A starter in all 31 games, White posted 12 double-doubles this season and led the Mountain Lions in scoring 11 times and rebounding 27 times while earning 2024 All-RMAC First Team honors.  In three seasons at UCCS, White ranks 10^th all-time in scoring and is two points shy of reaching the 1,000-point milestone.  On the rebounding charts, White is third all-time with 669 caroms and her 288 rebounds this season are the most ever in a single season at UCCS.
 
First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 16, 2024.
