COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball student-athlete Maison White has been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball team, announced by the organization Tuesday morning.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

The junior forward from Grantsville, Utah is making her second straight appearance on the CSC Academic All-District First Team.  The owner of a 3.642 GPA and a Criminal Justice major, White has been named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team the past two years.  She finished her junior campaign ranked 13th in the league in scoring (13.0 points per game), second in field goal percentage (55.9 percent), third in rebounds per game (9.3) and seventh in blocks per game (0.9).

A starter in all 31 games, White posted 12 double-doubles this season and led the Mountain Lions in scoring 11 times and rebounding 27 times while earning 2024 All-RMAC First Team honors.  In three seasons at UCCS, White ranks 10th all-time in scoring and is two points shy of reaching the 1,000-point milestone.  On the rebounding charts, White is third all-time with 669 caroms and her 288 rebounds this season are the most ever in a single season at UCCS.

First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 16, 2024.
