COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced the 2024-25 Women' Basketball Preseason Watch List Tuesday afternoon, with Amyah Moore Allen and Maison White earning a spot on the 20-player Watch List.

The RMAC Women's Basketball Preseason Watch List includes any returning First and Second Team All-RMAC selections and the top player on each team without a returning All-RMAC selection. Sixteen of the 20-member 2023-24 All-RMAC women's basketball teams return to compete for the 2024-25 title, including its Player, Freshman, and Defensive Players of the Year.

Redshirt-junior Amyah Moore Allen is coming off a 2023-24 season where she collected All-RMAC First Team and RMAC All-Tournament Team honors.  The guard saw action in all 31 games, averaging 21.6 minutes per contest.  Moore Allen finished second on the team in scoring (12.7 point per game), total rebounds (94), assists (55) and blocked shots (23), while snagging a team high 57 steals.  She finished the season ranked 12th in the league in blocked shots (0.7 per game), and 14th in scoring and steals (1.8 per game).

Maison White enters her fourth year with the UCCS program as one of the top players in program history.  She begins her senior campaign as the 10th leading scorer in school history with 998 points, and sixth all-time in rebounds with 669.  As a junior last season, White set a single season school record with 288 rebounds.  Earning CSC Academic All-District Team, RMAC All-Academic First Team, All-RMAC First Team and RMAC All-Tournament Team accolades last year, White was one of three Mountain Lions to start all 31 games.  She led the team in scoring (13.0 points per game), minutes per game (27.7), rebounds, and blocks (29).  Her 55.9 field goal percentage was the second highest in the league, while her rebound average (9.3) was the third most.  She recorded 12 double-doubles, ranking her 28th overall in Division II.

Picked No. 2 in the 2024-25 RMAC Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Mountain Lions open their season at home this weekend against Midwestern State University on Nov. 8, and Cameron University on Nov. 9.  Both games will tip-off at 1 p.m. each day inside Gallogly Events Center.
