The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
Senior midfielder
Fie Steenberg and sophomore midfielder
Taylynn Levi both earn their first selection to the All-District selections after they were both named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team last week.
Hailing all the way from Odense, Denmark,
Fie Steenberg is named to the Academic All-District squad after two previous Honor Roll selections. Completing her degree in International Business this spring, Steenberg has an impressive 3.87 grade point average across her academic career at UCCS. On the pitch, the midfielder has also been one of the top weapons for the Mountain Lions attack, tallying a career-high five goals with another six assists, totaling sixteen points on the season which is also the best total of her career.
Sophomore
Taylynn Levi also joins the Academic All-District group for the first time doing so in her second tour of duty for the Mountain Lions. A member of the Engineering program here at UCCS, Levi holds an unblemished 4.0 grade point average, doing so in one of, if not the most rigorous disciplines offered at the university. Athletically, Levi also represents one of the league's elite central midfielders with remarkable skills on the ball up and down the pitch. Scoring seven goals this season including one game winner, Levi has two assists and sixteen points in her sophomore campaign all of which match or set the best marks of her career.
